Overview
Day 1 - Arrive San Jose
Meet & greet pon arrival in San Jose, private transfer to your hotel in the area of Arenal Volcano.Overnight Hotel Magic Mountain with Volcano view or similar (3 nights)
Day 2 - Morning Choice of Activity plus Afternoon Arenal Volcano Hike
You choose one of the four following activities:
Penas Blancas Safari: Quietly paddling the Penas Blancas River viewing monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and numerous tropical birds. Your professional naturalist guide will will give you an explanation of the plants and animals you may encounter along the way. Be sure to bring your camera and binoculars.
Horseback Riding to Fortuna Waterfall: Begin with an easy and scenic horseback ride from the ranch to the entrance of the waterfall. Descend on a challenging hike down to to the crystal blue pool the waterfall pours into. There you'll be able to take a refreshing swim, then hike back up to where the horses are waiting. There are showers and changing rooms available. Ride back to the stables.
Canopy/Zipline: This is a high adrenaline experience, fun, fun, fun! The ptofessional guides will get you into all of your gear and then will explain the way to proceed on the zipline. You'll feel as if you are flying through the trees. There are 12 platforms and 350 meters of zip lines at approximate heights of 85 meters above ground. The canopy tour is for all ages. At the end, you'll slide above the Arenal River. The tour will finish with a tractor ride back to the hotel.
Suspended Bridges: Arenal Hanging Bridges takes you over15 bridges, ranging from 5 to 100 meters long, over the rainforest. The interpretive trails are built with paving blocks to prevent slipping. The bridges were designed by structural engineers with the most demanding safety margins in the world. A professional naturalist guide, will show you the secrets hidden in the tropical rainforest.
Later, enjoy a mid-afternoon Arenal Volcano National Park Tour then a visit and dinner at a local hot springs (B, D)

Cano Negro Boat Tour: Cano Negro is one of the most important wetland regions in Central America. It protects a number of endangered migratory species. Driving north through rolling agricultural land, you will arrive at the tiny village of Los Chiles, where you will board the boat for a trip down the Rio Frio. In addition to the wide range of birds that live along the river, including the anhinga, roseate spoonbill, and wood stork, you will usually see turtles, caimans (Caimanus crocodylus), sloth and monkeys. A delicious lunch is served on shore.
After your tour today you will have leisure time to do some shopping in La Fortuna or just relax by the pool at your hotel. (B)
Day 4 - Jaco Beach
After breakfast, private transfer to Jaco Beach for your next adventure. Your time upon arrival will be at leisure to get acquainted with your new hotel. (B)
Club del Mar (4 nights)
Day 5 - Tortuga Island
Cruise on a catamaran in the Gulf of Nicoya to Tortuga Island. You'll stay on the island for approximately four hours, where you can enjoy different optional activities such as: canopy tour, trails, kayaking, snorkelling, swimming, beach sports or simply relax, enjoy the beach, while your crew prepares an exquisite buffet style lunch. Return to Jaco for an evening of leisure. (B,L)
Day 6 - Day of Leisure (B)
Day 7 - Manuel Antonio
After breakfast, you will transfer to Manuel Antonio for a guided hike/walk of Manuel Antonio National Park. This park is concidered the jewel of the nation with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Your naturalist guide will explain the history and geograghy of the area as well as help you get the most out of your visit, pointing out sloths, monkeys, iguanas and a multitude of insects and birds during this very informative walk. Return to your hotel in Jaco for an evening of leisure. (B)
Day 8 - Depart San Jose
Transfer to the San Jose airport for your flight home. By now you will know the national catch phrase, "!Pura Vida!" (B)
