Overview

Day 1 - Arrive San Jose
Meet & greet upon arrival at the San Jose airport. You will be transferred to your hotel and given your all your tour and hotel vouchers Overnight this night at Hotel Parque de Lago or similar (1 night)
Day 2 - Whitewater Rafting Pacuare River
Earl morning pick up at your hotel then transferred to the put in of The Pacuare River; there is a stop for breakfast along the way. After the safety talk by your professional white water rafting guides, you'll get all your gear and head down river through the scenic land that is still inhabited by the Cabecar Indians. Your overnight destination, the Pacuare Lodge is a jungle oasis in the rainforest. There is time in the afternoon to purchase an optional canopy/zipline adventure or explore the rainforest surrounding the lodge on a number of hiking trials. Happy Hour truly becomes a happy time as you share your experiences of the day with your fellow rafters. Later this evening, enjoy a candlelight dinner. Overnight in your own bungalow, complete with private bathroom. All meals are included this day. Pacuare Lodge (1 night)
Day 3 - Pacuare Whitewater Rafting / Arenal Volcano Area
After breakfast, we leave the tropical paradise of Pacuare Lodge. Rafting becomes even more exciting today as you begin to use the skills gained the day before. You will pass by pristine waterfalls where you can get out and float along in the still-water pools. Lunch will be served along the riverbank. When you arrive at the take out of the river, there is a place to change into dry clothes. We then transfer to the next adventure to the Arenal Volcano area. Breakfast and lunch are included this day. (B,L)

Day 4 - Canyoneering
After breakfast, the thrill to the unique, multi-sport adventure that combines rappelling, down-climbing and river tracing in a deep, tropical canyon. You start off with a thorough safety talk to learn important rappelling and down-climbing techniques. You will be provided high-quality technical climbing gear such as a harness, helmet, gloves then practice your first descent on a mini 15-ft waterfall. After you get the hang of things, you will rappel down more waterfalls for the thrill of a lifetime! In the afternoon, there is another adventure hike of the old lava trails of Arenal Volcano. Day 5 - Zip Line Arenal / Manuel Antonio
Today's adventure starts right after breakfast with the adrenaline pumping canopy zipline, one of the very best in Costa Rica. Your professional guide will give you the information you need for this incredible adventure. You'll be flying through the canopy of the rainforest. There are several platforms and 350 meters of zip lines at approximate heights of 85 meters above ground, then to end the zipline tour, you slide above the Arenal River. Next stop Manuel Antonio. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and the remainder of your day is at leisure. Breakfast is included this day(B)

Day 6 - Manuel Antonio National Park Hike / Sea Kayaking (Coastal Paddle)
After breakfast, you will take a guided hike/walk of Manuel Antonio National Park, the jewel of the national park system. There are beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Your naturalist guide will explain the history and geography of the area, while pointing out sloths, monkeys, iguanas and a multitude of insects and birds during this very informative walk. The afternoon is for sea kayaking, also known as a coastal paddle kayak. Paddle the open ocean along the coastline from Quepos to Manuel Antonio National Park. Paddle by islands that are nesting sites for unique coastal bird life including boobies and frigate birds. The kayak adventure ends in Biezans Bay. Day 7 - ATV Jungle Safari OR Horseback Riding Adventure
ATV Jungle Safari: traveling on your own ATV into the mountains with spectacular views and the tropical rainforest. Your professional guide will lead you off road through giant African Palm plantations, cattle farms, and tiny villages. then visit a breathtaking waterfall, where you will have a chance to cool off in the refreshing crystal-clear water.
Horseback Riding: ride through the tropical rain forest to a beautiful waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip in the pools which are formed below the waterfall. Ride back to the ranch for lunch. Breakfast and lunch included this day(BL) Overnight Villas Lirio or similar
Day 8 - Depart Costa Rica
After breakfast, transfer back to San Jose for an afternoon flight home. Breakfast is included this day.(B)
